Memorial Biography

Geraldine Rose Sobischanski

Of blessed memory, loving mother, wife and grandmother, who passed away at the age of 58 years, on November 3, 1993, with her family at her side.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Louis, her three loving children, son Wayne, daughter Sharon and husband Stephen, and daughter Karen; she will also be sadly missed by her two grandchildren, Ashley and Scott: she will be greatly remembered as well by her sisters, brothers, many nieces and nephews and very good friends.

She was known as a caring and loving person. She stayed at home to raise her children and provided a loving for her husband and family. She was generous and gave her time freely without fail. Her wisdom and advice will be sorely missed. We thank the Lord for all the years he allowed her to be with us.

TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE WHO LOVED ME

When I am gone, release me, let me go

I have so many things to see and do

You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears;

Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave to you my love, you can only guess

How much you gave to me in happiness

I thank you for the love you each have shown,

But now it's time I travelled on alone.

So grieve a while for me if grieve you must;

Then let your grief be comforted by trust,

It's only for a while that we must part,

So bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away, for life goes on;

So if you need me, call and I will come,

Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near

And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All of my love around you soft and clear.

And then when you must come this way alone.

I'll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome home"
